The Almonte Lecture Series

Now approaching our ninth season, the Almonte Lectures have come about from a conversation in January, 2004, between Reiner Hollbach and Don Wiles, during which it was suggested that such a series might arouse favourable response in the Almonte area.  The model could be the “Learning in Retirement” series at Carleton University.  The idea was talked around some and met with such positive response that it was immediately put in place.
