2015 Pakenham Fair

The 2015 Pakenham Fair will take place Saturday August 15th at the Pakenham Community Park and Stewart Community Centre. General admission is $4.00 and kids under 12 are free.

A Few Highlights:

7:00 – 9:00: Breakfast, Fair Grounds Concession Stand. On the menu: bacon, eggs, beans, toast, and coffee. Special Thanks fo MacMillan’s Ladies Broomball team for preparing the breakfast.

9:00: Bake Sale, Stewart Community Centre Lobby. Sponsored by the Zion UCW.

9:00 – 4:00: Viewing of Fair Exhibits, Stewart Community Centre

9:00 – 4:00: Farmers Market and Displays, outside beside Stewart Community Centre

9:00 – 4:00: Craft and Trade Show, Stewart Community Centre. See all the sweets, treats, and crafts for sale. Vendors welcome, please call 256-1077 to reserve a table.

9:00: Merchants’ Sidewalk Sale andCommunity Yard Sale, Main & Side Streets

9:30: Horse Show, Ball Diamond (beside Canteen)

10:00: Man’s Best Friend Contest, Special Event Tent. Children can bring their dog to the fair and enter it in this fun contest.

10:00: 4-H Calf Show, Fred Millar Field. This competition is organized by the 4-H Calf Club and features bothDairy and Beef classes. A great show!

10:00: FREE Petting Farm, in the tent beside the Ball Diamond

10:00 – 3:00: FREE Children’s Activities, in the tent beside the Ball Diamond.

11:00: BBQ and refreshments, Canteen. Special Thanks to the Fire Fighters of Station 2 Pakenham for barbequing.

11:30: Children’s Entertainment - To be announced, Special Event Tent. FREE

12:00: Official Opening of the Fair, Millar Field 4-H Show Ring.

1:00: Frog Jumping, Children’s Tent beside Ball Diamond. Get ready for it! Find a frog and join in. Special note: All frogs will be returned to their home at the end of the race.

1:30: Children’s Entertainment - To be announced, Special Event Tent. FREE

2:30: Chili Cook-off, Community Centre Lobby.

3:00: Draw for door prizes at the Ball Diamond
